time since diagnosis

The specific guidance for exercise will vary from the point of diagnosis through the end of treatment and into survivorship.  For example, there is no resistance training during surgical recovery.  Also, during chemotherapy, we recognize there will be ‘good’ days and ‘bad’ days and provide advice as to what your  physical activity should look like for each.

In the Moving Through Cancer book, I outline these specific guidelines for each time period.  That guidance is summarized on this website, with videos to follow and handouts to download.
